A.I.type (Android) - Turbo-powered predictive text!

Human beings in conversation often know what the other person is going to say next. Just take sentence completers as an annoying example of this phenomenon. Our brains are built for this. So this Android keyboard takes some of that predictive ability and uses it to suggest the word you want next. It offers several suggestions, and the correct one is usually among them. That's how predictable you are. Check it out.

Skitch (Android) - Markup and annotate your photos!

Sorry for the two-in-a-row Android posts, folks, I try to alternate with Windows, but this has to be put out there. Evernote just acquired/absorbed/assimilated Skitch and promptly put out an Android app. Here's what it does:

Calling Skitch for Android addictively fun is an understatement. QR Droid (Android) - Create and read QR codes!

QR (Quick Response) Codes are being seen and used more and more. Isn't it time you joined the party?

According to this article in PCWorld,

"Considering that the smartphone isn't going anywhere the QR code will no doubt increase in popularity here. Social Media Explorer predicts, in fact, that we'll see much more QR activity going forward, including greater brand integration in print magazines, more consistent use in outdoor media, and integration of QR codes with games and social commerce.

Ad Age says that for marketers, they're a game changer for several reasons. They can make virtually anything interactive, even books or socks, for that matter. They're also easily customizable and easily trackable. Marketers can view how many times a code was scanned by whom and with what kind of device."

This app both reads and generates QR codes on your Android device.
