LockHunter - Breaks Windows' stubborn grip on unwanted files

Every once in a while, when you try to delete an unwanted file, Windows says no. Nyet. Nein. It's not gonna happen. But why, you say. Because the file is in use by a running process, that's why, and it ain't letting go.

If you're sure you don't need the hostage file, there's a foolproof way to delete it. This app, though the context menu, breaks the iron grip of the process in question so you can say bye bye to the unwanted file. From the developer:

"It is a free tool to delete files blocked by something you do not know. LockHunter is useful for fighting against malware, and other programs that are blocking files without a reason. Unlike other similar tools it deletes files into the recycle bin so you may restore them if deleted by mistake."
