Firefox Memory Usage: See it with StatusbarEx

Firefox can sometimes leak memory like a sieve, using up to 200-plus megs on my machine. I still love Firefox, but when it misbehaves I have to restart it.

Used to be I'd just notice a general slowdown in my computer's operations and have to punch up my task manager to see what was going on. Sure enough, Firefox, and sometimes Flock, was spiraling out of memory control. Restarting would get them back in harness.

So a nice timesaver would let me see what Firefox is doing with my available memory, and what's the haps with my computer's memory generally. StatusbarEx does exactly that. A neat little Firefox extension, it shows me Firefox memory usage, general memory usage, and network speed, all on my Firefox status bar.
