Vista Cursors for XP

Another "no need to upgrade to Vista" post. If you like the cursors that come with Vista, you can get them for your XP machine, no problem. Codejacked has links for lots of other stuff that brings a Vista flavor to XP, but the cursors are here. Download the zip file and extract to your Windows>Cursors folder. Then you can use RealWorld's Change Cursor 2.0 to make switching cursors easy. Once it's installed, go to the Cursors folder where you put the Aero cursors, then right-click on the ones you want to use and select "Change Cursor." You'll see which ones to use for different purposes (see screenshot).
